Gifting A Good Dine Time To My Beloved Parents!

For me, who has led a student life throughout all these years, it often gets difficult for me to be able to afford extravagant meals. Of course, I have money, but that is all my parents’. So I always had to manage my funds judiciously. But this time, at my parents’ anniversary, I was not sure what to gift.

One of my dear friends suggested me to give them an experience of a good family dining restaurant in Delhi. There was an unfamiliar unease that engulfed me. I wanted to right away gift them that, but spending a generous amount, was not something that I could afford at that time.

I agree, once in a while it is alright to indulge in prodigal spending, but I just didn’t have enough savings. That is when my dear friend introduced me to the concept of Gourmet Passport. Easy redeeming offers to attain the best food deals in Delhi and round. Quiet liking the concept; I moved forth planning the whole day for my parents.

I booked my parents tickets from Bihar to Delhi, back and fro. I did not tell them about my plans at all, wanted to keep it as a pleasant surprise for them. And sure, they were amazed too. From a humble background that we belong to, being a spend thrift is not in fashion per se, but to gift them something like that, not only provided me contentment but the gratifying smile on their faces.

I could see their faces lit up like little children who just have been offered an ice cream! It was truly a magical and an amazing feeling for me and my parents for I treated them with a good meal at a high end restaurant, and didn’t even spend too much. It was indeed a very ‘happy anniversary’ gift to my dearest parents!
